Douglas Manor Wedding – Clint & Emily

All weddings are special, but they’re especially wonderful when you get to photograph your brother-in-law and future sister-in-law’s wedding! You may remember these two from when I photographed Clint’s Auburn University proposal and their engagement session last May. They chose Douglas Manor in Columbiana, outside Birmingham, for their wedding venue.bride getting hair done

Katina Carter and her assistant did a wonderful job of getting Emily and her ladies ready for the day!bridal gownEmily chose a beautiful dress that was perfect for the winter wedding setting.wedding invitation with ringsgroom's attire

Clint and Emily wanted to have a second photographer, and I’m so glad they did! Becca was able to capture extra moments like this that I wouldn’t have time for on my own.

Emily’s four best friends were such a loving, helpful support team for her all day, and she had three adorable younger ladies to help, too!bride with flower girlbride in forestwinter bride

Clint is a huge Star Wars fan, so his cake was very especially fitting! The guys even went to see Rogue One the night before the wedding. bride and groom cake cutting

There was even a bit of cake smashing! The reception was full of delicious food from Loretta Newman and her crew before guests waited outside for the bride and groom to make their grand exit!wedding send off kiss

Clint and Emily were showered with birdseed before heading off to their honeymoon, a cruise and a visit to Universal Studios! Congratulations!

Thank you, Clint and Emily, for asking me to photograph your wedding! I wish you the best as you begin your life together.
