Ryan and Allie deserve some sort of award for toughing this session out! We scheduled a 7 am session and it just so happened that a cold front had recently come through and temperatures were in the 30s when we got started! That’s COLD for Auburn, Alabama! Ryan and Allie wanted to go through with the session though, so I bundled up and photographed them – goosebumps and all! Thankfully, Auburn had a win the day before, so we were able to get some photos with the recently rolled trees near Toomer’s Corner! One of the perks of an early morning session is how quiet Auburn is. We were able to sneak onto the tiger paw at Toomer’s Corner and take a few photos!
The cold front had brought a lot of wind along with it, which brought all the paper from Toomer’s Corner over to Samford Lawn. A bit of Photoshop work cleaned the lawn right up! If only things were that simple in real life?!Auburn is special to Ryan & Allie, and although they’ll be getting married back home, I’m glad they chose Auburn to have their engagement photos taken! After finishing near Samford Hall, we went over to the Arboretum to catch some fall colors!I just love the ring Ryan chose for Allie!Fall colors are impossible to predict. You never know when the trees will look just right. We got lucky with these beautiful golden trees!
Thankfully, the temperatures eventually warmed up a little bit, so we weren’t quite so frozen as we were to begin with!Ryan and Allie, thank you for choosing me to photograph you here in Auburn! I wish you the best as you continue planning your wedding and begin your lives together!
