November is a tricky month to get married. You could have heat, snow, rain, frigid temperatures… it’s hard to guess! Matt and Kayla had the good fortune of having perfect weather the day the tied the knot! Kayla and her ladies got ready at a nearby hotel before heading to the ceremony location, Lanark. Lanark has a beautiful story. In short, the land belonged to a couple that were married for almost 50 years, and it was donated to the AWF after they passed away. With this kind of history, it’s the perfect place for Matt and Kayla to start their marriage. Kayla and I met a few weeks beforehand and had a bridal session that you can see here.Matt and Kayla had a bridal party full of family and friends that helped them celebrate their day!I love how the colors looked so good with Kayla’s ladies!The doors were such a pretty touch to the reception! This was a particularly fun moment (that if you follow me on Facebook, you’ve already seen!). Kayla’s dad added a nice plug in for his future grandbabies into the prayer :) One of my favorite parts about the reception was the cake stand Kayla’s brother made for her cake! It was gorgeous!Kayla and Matt’s guests enjoyed a delicious dinner and some gooood cake before it was time to say goodbye….They were more than happy to throw things at the happy couple as they headed off to their honeymoon!
