A wedding two days after Independence Day with a military groom means one thing – beautiful patriotic American wedding details! One clear thing that sets this couple apart is their name. That’s right, their name. They are both named Jordan! This fun quirk brought some enjoyable moments to the wedding day – especially during the vows! Jordan and Jordan took the day in stride and were such a joy to work with. The day went by smoothly and they finally were able to tie the knot. I’m excited to share some moments from their day with you!Jordan’s bridal boots were such a personal touch to her ensemble!
You’d never know it, but the videographer Summer and I waited a good deal of time for a tiny cloud to come by and provide some shade under the arbor for this shot. We had about 10 seconds of shade – so not much time to compose and shoot!
Jordan’s mom helped her with the finishing touches on her dress next to this lovely window light.
Jordan’s bridesmaids anxiously awaited their first glance of their friend. Their reactions were all so sweet and genuine!
Jordan’s groomsmen enjoyed cheering him on as he got ready to see his bride. This helped us get lots of us genuine smiles!
Jordan was so wowed by his bride! She requested a first look at this pond nearby the venue. We found a shady spot and prepared Jordan for his bride! His reaction was as you’d expect for a groom seeing his beautiful bride for the first time.
Allen’s Flowers created beautiful bouquets for Jordan & her bridesmaids.
We wrapped up near the pond and went back to the tree line near the venue for photos with the bridal party.
How precious was this flower girl? She was one of the best flower girls I have seen. She’s the same age as my little boy and I can’t imagine him doing as well as she did!
The barn at Whispering Pines is beautiful.
Katy with Make it Perfect Events helped the day flow smoothly, as she always does!
We took a few more images with the evening light and then went in for the reception.
In lieu of a groom’s cake, the couple had the O Town ice cream cart! It was a hit – especially on that hot July evening. Check out these precious personalized flavors!
DJ K Touch handled the reception and did a great job.
Publix created this amazing cake!
Jordan & Jordan celebrated with their guests and had a sparkler exit before heading out for a honeymoon cruise.
Thank you to Jordan & Jordan for the honor of being your wedding photographer! Your wedding day was beautiful and I’m certain it is only the beginning of the joy you’ll share in your lives together.
