I’m sure you’ve seen the cute Pinterest idea where couples have taken a photo each year since they were married holding a photo from the year before. Hannah loves photos, and so this was a perfect fit for them! This year was their second anniversary.
I’ve always been envious of Californian photographers who posted images in rolling acres of beautiful vineyards. Lucky for me, there’s one just down the road from my house, and Clay and Hannah chose it as their session! Thanks to Hodges Vineyards for allowing us to use their land for this session!
The first photo is from their wedding day, as they’re riding a boat at sunset. The second is from a session in Hannah’s hometown, Athens, AL. I thought we should also get some photos of them without the previous ones, just to cover all our bases :)
This was one of my favorite photos from the session! I love their happy smiles!
I think regularly getting professional photos taken is important for everyone! If you’re single, it is a great way to get a representation of your current appearance, interests, etc. For married couples, you often wait the years between your wedding photos and your first family photo without getting pictures taken. Don’t do it! Your kids will someday enjoy looking back on your photos from the pre-kid years.
Thanks for allowing me to photograph you again, Clay & Hannah! You’re a beautiful couple and I’m so glad you value these memories :)
