Undaunted by the threat of hot August weather, Christine and Kramer gracefully took their August wedding date plans in stride. August in Alabama can be unpredictable, and rain and heat are common, but Christine and Kramer’s wedding date was molded around military plans, and they had a wonderful attitude! Thankfully we had no rain on their day and Christine’s historic family home looked ready for the day, itself!
The home originally had no closets, but I loved this double door closet that had been added to her parents’ bedroom! Christine chose such a beautiful dress!
Thanks to the home originally being built without modern AC, the large windows created amazing natural light for Christine putting on her makeup.
Christine and Kramer chose this amazing seed paper to use as the confetti that would be thrown during their wedding send-off. If all goes well, hopefully a small field of flowers will grow where they held their ceremony!
Flowers by Amanda created this lovely wildflower bouquet for Christine.
Christine’s lovely mother helped her get dressed before her bridesmaids stepped in to help with her shoes.
We also took a moment for Christine’s dad to see his daughter in her wedding gown ready to go! It was such a sweet moment!
Kramer waited for Christine in this shady spot near the crepe myrtles.
His reaction was so sweet! They both were so excited to see each other and they spent several minutes talking together about the day!Christine and Kramer were beaming all day!
Just look at that gorgeous bouquet!
Kramer and Christine chose a great group of friends to support them on their wedding day.
The sun was in the perfect spot as Christine’s father walked her down the aisle.
They chose a beautiful spot between these two trees in the backyard to have their ceremony. I love that they chose to have their guests throw the confetti as they left their ceremony! It was such a fun, beautiful moment for everyone.
The reception was held in the side yard near the barn. Christine’s family put a lot of work into creating a beautiful reception space!Another unique part of this wedding was the smell of barbeque being smoked all day! Christine’s family has two pitmasters and they worked hard smoking the ribs and butts for what would be a delicious reception dinner!
Christine’s centerpieces featured old books (a personal favorite of mine!) and lovely teacups!
Guests enjoyed their food on these amazing china plates.
Cake Designs created Christine’s beautiful cake and the grooms cake was an delicious family recipe (especially the sauce!)Memories in Motion provided fun at the reception with their vintage photo bus! It was such a hit! I highly recommend adding this unique photo booth to your wedding reception.
Christine & Kramer wrapped up the evening with a cake cutting and sweet toasts! They’ll be celebrating their honeymoon all next week!
Congratulations, Christine and Kramer, on your marriage! You had a beautiful wedding day and everything turned out perfectly. Thank you so much for asking me to be your photographer!
