This day had so many beautiful moments, I had a very hard time choosing which photos to include in their blog post. Kyle and Amanda are a sweet couple that met while they were students in Auburn and fell in love while after they had both moved to Birmingham. You can see their engagement photos from downtown Birmingham here. I love the touches of Auburn that were featured throughout their wedding day. They were married in the small town of Cleveland, Alabama at River Heights.
The venue provides plenty of gorgeous opportunities for photos! I loved Amanda’s gown and the bridesmaid dresses she chose.
The bridal suite featured a beautiful area for the bride to get ready.
Amanda was the perfect bride while getting ready! She handled the small hiccups along the way with grace, and soaked up the moments leading up to seeing her handsome groom!
Kyle and his guys enjoyed a groom’s suite that had non-stop football on TV and a pool table to entertain them that morning.
Amanda looked beautiful even just putting her shoes on!
We took a few photos on our way out to capture Kyle & Amanda’s first look! I’m so glad they chose to have one. It gave us time for photos before the ceremony so we didn’t have to rush after the ceremony and keep their guests waiting, and gave them time alone to relish their wedding day together!
His first look was precious – he was so excited to see his bride!
If you know Kyle, you know there were plenty of moments like this throughout the day! He makes Amanda laugh easily, which came in handy during photos.
We began their portraits together at the front of the house, before going around to the back. I loved the variety of options we had for locations!
There’s that laugh again!
I can’t get over how beautiful Amanda’s eyelashes are! They stand out to me in every photo of her.
They chose 16 of their closest friends and family for their bridal party – and what a great group they had supporting them on this special day!
One of my favorite groups of groomsmen ever! These guys are all strong Christians who also know how to have fun.
I love sentimental touches that can be seen throughout the day. Amanda’s grandmother allowed her to wear the ring her grandfather gave her very early in their relationship. I’m sad we didn’t have time to hear him tell the story behind it. It sounded like a good one! I’m so inspired by older couples who have weathered the storms of life and are still standing strong together after so many years, and this ring is a testament to their love and dedication.
I just couldn’t get over these two photos – I loved them both so much! The color, the lighting, the love… So much beauty captured from their day in two shots!
This one is my favorite of Kyle – so much love and joy seen in his expression here.
Amanda’s lovely ladies showing their happiness during the ceremony! Bridal parties that smile and laugh during there ceremony make the photos have such a positive feel.
The rolling fields behind their ceremony made the perfect backdrop for photos.
I loved both of their cake tables, but especially his Auburn groom’s cake table. His cookie cakes were great, and the Toomer’s tree was a great touch.
Kyle and Amanda spent the afternoon celebrating with their family and friends before they were sent on their way with a War Eagle farewell!Congratulations, Kyle and Amanda! I’m thankful that I know both of you and I look forward to the great things you’ll do for the Lord. I hope you enjoy the rest of your honeymoon, and we’ll welcome you back in Auburn any time!
