Billy and Amanda’s wedding was held on a beautiful late spring afternoon at Lazenby Farms just outside of Auburn. Their wedding was the perfect blend of elegance and rustic elements! Billy and Amanda are a sweet couple that I have enjoyed getting to know over the past few months and who fully enjoyed every moment of their wedding day!
Amanda and her bridesmaids got ready in the house on the Lazenby Farms property. It had the right amount of space for all nine of her ladies to join her!Katie Hill did an amazing job on Amanda’s makeup! I highly recommend considering a professional makeup artist – it makes such a difference in photos!Amanda’s wedding invitations could not have matched her bouquets any better! I loved the colors she chose.Amanda and her ladies took a few moments to relax before getting ready and starting portraits!
Amanda had plenty of help as she got ready – everyone looked so beautiful!I love this gorgeous couch we could use as Amanda’s finishing touches were done.Lazenby Farms is a beautiful property for photos! As always, Jess with Frou Frou did a beautiful job creating their bouquets!Amanda could not have looked any more lovely for her bridal portraits.Billy and his groomsmen looked great all dressed up before the wedding! Billy chose a great group of guys to stand up with him.Billy and Amanda requested a few moments together before the ceremony – here they are for the first look! They also exchanged gifts – what girl wouldn’t want to receive her first Tiffany bracelet moments before going down the aisle?Amanda also had a surprise gift for Billy -her grandfather’s gun in a beautiful new case! Amanda’s father walked her from the house through the trees to the wedding. It was such a beautiful moment! Before the first words had been spoken, tears were already flowing for this wedding! I just loved how they used the natural elements of the land to enhance the ceremony location. The sunlight as Billy and Amanda left the ceremony was simply perfect! How fun is their bridal party!? I love large groups! We took a few moments for some portraits of Billy and Amanda before the reception. We couldn’t pass up the beautiful cornfield just behind the reception! The happy newlyweds were introduced as they entered their wedding reception in the barn.
The wedding reception details tied together so well – I especially loved the head table!Cakes by Tania created two beautiful cakes for Billy and Amanda!
Billy and Amanda had a sweet and fun first dance accompanied by the Brent Gafford Band.Billy and his mom finished the dances with a surprising mix of songs – they clearly enjoyed it, and so did the guests!During the reception, we took a short break to get a few photos with this great antique Ford truck!Amanda’s bridesmaids came prepared to catch that bouquet! How fun is this shot?!
Billy and Amanda’s guests lined the exit with sparklers as they sent them on their way to Mexico (after a ride in a limo to the hotel!)
Congratulations, Billy and Amanda! Thank you for including me in this special day! It was full of fun and love, and I’m so happy for the two of you!
